The main purpose of this book is to introduce Wang Meng's influence in the world (countries and regions). It is an introduction and narrative book for ordinary readers (including researchers, of course), not a literary work, nor a compilation of materials. This book strives to have a source, but considering the target readers and the time and energy of the author, it is not a strictly academic work (of course it will be of great help to related academic research).

本书主旨是介绍王蒙在世界 (各国及地区) 的影响, 是一部面对普通读者 (当然包括研究者) 的介绍与叙述性书籍, 不是文艺作品, 也不是资料汇编。本书力求所述有出处, 但考虑到读者对象, 也囿于编写者的时间、精力等因素, 所以也不是一部严格意义的学术著作 (当然会对相关学术研究有很大帮助)。
