This book collects 23 prose poems written by Lu Xun from 1924 to 1926. It was first published by Beijing Beixin Bookstore in July 1927 and listed as one of the "Wuhe Series" compiled by the author. Including "Preface", "Autumn Night", "Farewell to Shadow", "Good Story", "Passerby", "Dead Fire", "Such Warriors", "Smart People and Fools and Slaves", etc. "Wild Grass" has "profundity, mystery and permanence. On the whole, it has a kind of artistic beauty that is difficult to crack but can always lead to contemplation."
