In order to commemorate their father, Cheng Yu-tung, the four children invited two scholars, Dr. Wang Huiling and Dr. Mok Kin-wai, to write "The Biography of Cheng Yu-tung - The Practice of Diligence, Honesty and Righteousness" in the form of oral history, hoping to preserve their father's precious memory and pass on his spiritual values. The two authors have a deep background in sociology and history. They conducted oral history interviews with 58 people around Dr. Cheng Yu-tung over four years, and combined with a large amount of documentary archives, media interviews, government statistics and other important materials, they not only vividly portrayed Dr. Cheng Yu-tung's personality, but also reflected Dr. Cheng Yu-tung's precious character of loving the country and Hong Kong, serving the society and being enthusiastic about public welfare during his struggle.
