This book tells the story of a little boy named Tommy who is very afraid of dogs. He dares not attend a party with his friend because his friend has a dog. With the help of his mother, Tommy starts by looking at pictures and videos of dogs, and then goes to see the dogs on the farm. He gets close to the dogs in the park until he is completely relaxed. He finally overcomes his fear and attends his friend's party.
