Electro thief/走电人

This book is a collection of short stories set in rural Taiwan. It contains twelve stories, showing twelve aspects of life. The protagonists of the stories are all marginalized people in modern society. Although each story has a clear rural location, However, it is not limited to local stories or rural legends. These places can be substituted for any time and space, ancient and modern, or east and west. The author's rather modernist approach and existential thinking are integrated into it, which also gives the novel a depth that ordinary rural novels do not have.

本书是以台湾乡野为背景舞台的短篇小说集, 包含十二个故事, 展现了十二种人生切面, 故事主角都是现代社会的边缘人, 每篇故事虽有明确的乡野地点, 然而并不仅仅止于乡土故事或乡野传奇, 这些地点可以代入古今或东西的任一时空。作者颇为现代主义的手法和存在主义的思考融入其中, 也令小说具有了一般乡土小说所没有的深度。
