Dreams and Death of Ancient People/古代人的梦与死

This book is the research result of Japanese scholar Yoshikawa Tadao on the history of thought during the Wei, Jin, Sui and Tang dynasties. The author analyzes a large number of historical documents and cultural materials, and discusses the historical consciousness of the Chinese people from the perspectives of funeral concepts, food intake for immortality, Taoist caves, and attitudes towards Buddhism and Taoism in medieval China. The author closely combines the thoughts on dreams and death with the real stage of society to depict the spiritual world of the ancient Chinese.

本书为日本学者吉川忠夫关于魏晋隋唐时期思想史研究的研究成果，作者通过对大量历史文献和文化资料的梳理分析，分别从中古中国的丧葬观念、服食求仙、道教洞天、对佛道两教的态度等方面论述的中国人的历史意识。作者将有关梦与死的思想与社会这个现实的舞台紧密地结合起来，描绘古代中国人的精神世界。
