This book is a collection of short stories, which collects 16 works created by the author since the 1980s. With the theme of man and nature, it focuses on the protection of wild animals on the African grasslands ("Hippo Masseur"), the cordial interaction between man and marine life ("Only the Sea Is Not Sad"), grassland herders and Ferghana horses witnessing the glory of their ancestors ("Ferghana Horses Run Towards the Sun"), Kunlun Mountain hunters and snow leopards living together ("Snow Leopard's Footsteps")... The author is trying to warn people to have a clear understanding of nature, to look at nature objectively, and then to use the way of interaction between man and nature to heal our somewhat injured hearts. Among them, "Hippo Masseur" won the 20th Hundred Flowers Literature Award for Short Stories in 2023.
