The story of this book takes place in a seaside fishing village. Momo is a beautiful little female dog who is very close to her little master, Chuanhua. Once, Momo was surrounded by a group of stray dogs. Heifeng, a big male dog who was swept ashore by a mad dog wave, helped Momo escape from danger, but he was seriously injured. Chuanhua took Heifeng in, but the leader of the stray dogs, Langlian, used a sinister plot to alienate him, causing Heifeng to be driven out of the house. On one side is the master who adopted her, and on the other side is the "benefactor" who is seriously injured and has not recovered. Momo, who is in a dilemma, finally chooses to run away from home and fight side by side with Heifeng.
