In 2023, the author launched the "Freelancer's Survival Guide" interview and writing project, spending three years interviewing the top tier of freelancers among China's 200 million self-employed individuals. These freelancers, leveraging their knowledge, skills, resources, and experience, have broken free from the constraints of being "employed" and become "self-employed" "super individuals." This book includes oral histories from 20 of them, authentically reconstructing their "growth maps" and "mental journeys." Through five chapters of analysis and summarization, it dissects and interprets the underlying logic and feasible paths to freelancing from multiple perspectives, including strategy, tactics, and strategy.
