This book is a collection of short stories by the Indonesian genius novelist Norman Erickson Pasalibu. The story is set in the past, present and future, and uses magical realism to describe multiple stories of "almost gaining happiness but then losing it". When playing as a child, the elder brother threw a glass jar at his younger brother and hit his ear, causing him to lose hearing on one side. When he grew up, the younger brother wanted to work in the KTV where his elder brother worked. The guilty elder brother was afraid that his hearing-impaired younger brother would be bullied in the KTV, but his younger brother misunderstood that his elder brother looked down on his work ability, so he ran away from home in anger, leaving his elder brother with all kinds of regrets about the past; the son was not treated well after revealing the secret, and was driven out of the house by his mother and ended up in a dead end. After the accident, the mother went to a strange place with a similar name to her son to look for him.
