This book, co-authored by Li Haifeng and Sun Ao, is a biography about the life, intellectual development, and academic influence of 20th-century philosopher Ludwig Wittgenstein. Following Wittgenstein's life trajectory, the book begins with his wealthy yet spiritually troubled childhood, details his studies in Berlin, Manchester, and Cambridge, his battlefield philosophical reflections during World War I, his post-war journey from "returning to the countryside" as a rural teacher to "escaping the wilderness" to resuming philosophical research, and finally his intellectual reflections and passing away.

本书是由李海峰和孙骜联合创作的一部有关20世纪哲学家维特根斯坦生平经历、思想发展及学术影响的人物传记，本书以维特根斯坦的人生轨迹为线索，从其富贵却充满心灵困苦的童年讲起，详述他在柏林、曼彻斯特、剑桥等地的求学经历，以及一战期间的战地哲学思考，再到战后从“回归乡野”当乡村教师到“逃离荒野”重拾哲学研究，直至晚年的思想沉淀与离世。
