This is a travelogue of Europe by Zhao Chun, a professor at Sichuan International Studies University, a travel enthusiast, and a seasoned photography aficionado. The author has visited Europe five times. His two autumn road trips, covering 30,000 kilometers and experiencing much of Europe, are particularly memorable. The first was in the autumn of 2011, when he drove through seven countries: Hungary, Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, France, Italy, and Slovenia, passing through the Netherlands, Slovakia, Switzerland, Monaco, and Vatican City. The second was a Balkan journey in the autumn of 2013, driving through Romania and Bulgaria, reaching as far south as Santorini in Greece, then north to Albania and Kosovo, before entering Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, and Slovenia, finally returning to Hungary via Austria. This book is the culmination of these two European autumn road trips.
