This book tells the story of Northeast China from the perspective of a shaman. The protagonist Mandou is a shaman with a pair of "cat eyes" and magical night vision. When he was twelve years old, a circus came to the village. There was a vase girl in the circus. For the joke of the little girl asking for help, Mandou embarked on a strange journey. The work is based on the oral history of the ethnic and folk history of Northeast China, and constructs a historical novel with a long time span, rich character creation and full of mystery. It is a work that aims to see through the miserable fate of the people of Northeast China for half a century.
