This book studies three questions: why the Northern Ireland border issue is so complicated; how the Northern Ireland border issue affects the UK's Brexit negotiation process; and how the Northern Ireland border issue affects Northern Ireland's political prospects, economic prospects and unification prospects in the post-Brexit era. In order to answer these three questions, multiple analytical perspectives are adopted, not only taking into account historical analysis and current affairs analysis, but also analyzing the political, economic, diplomatic and security impacts of the Northern Ireland border issue from the perspectives of party politics, international trade and international relations.
