This book tells the story of Shi Pengpeng's petition to Li Zhu to allow Little Lily to return to her homeland. Li Zhu, however, argues that staying on Earth is Little Lily's best option, but she agrees to let Little Lily stay with Shi Pengpeng. Shi Pengpeng eventually understands Li Zhu's words: Little Lily's compatriots are gypsies from the universe. They possess no special abilities other than astropathic language and are constantly bullied by the powerful planet of Sam. Shirik, who is compiling a "History of Cosmic Mathematics," happens to be collecting information on Little Lily's planet and encounters Shi Pengpeng and his team. Under Shirik's guidance, Shi Pengpeng helps Little Lily's family rebel against Sam, ultimately destroying it. He also learns that gentleness is the most powerful force in the universe.
