I am "normal," while my brother is irritable, temperamental, violent, unable to understand others, and unable to comprehend emotions... This family faces a foreseeable future of suffering, and each member faces it one by one. However, my mother, completely devoted to my older brother, neglected me. My feelings and emotions became unimportant to him, and so I grew up sensible and self-reliant. Furthermore, because I spent so much of my childhood watching a helpless, devastated, and suffering mother, I chose not to have children, leaving me somewhat "alone and helpless" in my old age.
