This book tells the story of how separatist forces in various parts of Tibet rose and fell after the collapse of the Tubo Dynasty. In the Sakya area of Shigatse, the Sakya forces gradually grew stronger and became famous, becoming the ruler of one side. At this time, Mongolia had risen in the north and rapidly expanded its territory. In 1234, after the Mongols destroyed the Jin Dynasty, after fierce battles, the Mongolian prince Kuoduan was stationed in Liangzhou, an important town in Western Xia. The leaders of various regions in Tibet sat together to discuss how to deal with the relationship with the Mongolian Khanate. Finally, after discussion, they agreed to let the famous Sakya Gongga Gyaltsen go to Liangzhou to negotiate the surrender, opening a new era in Tibetan history. In 1246, Gongga Gyaltsen left Tibet and went to Liangzhou.
