The Alchemy of Time/时间的炼金术

"The Alchemy of Time" is a collection of short stories by Ge Fei, winner of the Mao Dun Literature Prize. It includes fourteen of Ge Fei's short stories, among which "Encounter" and "The Alchemy of Time" have become classics in contemporary Chinese literature. "Encounter" is hailed as "Ge Fei's best short story", while "The Alchemy of Time" is regarded by experts and scholars as a "summary work" of Ge Fei's writing themes and artistic achievements.
