This book tells the story of Yingying, a female college graduate who went to teach in Nyima County, Nagqu City, Tibet. The Qiangtang Plateau is high-altitude, cold, and arid, with large areas covered by uninhabited land. Many unique species of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau live here, such as Tibetan antelopes, Tibetan gazelles, and wild yaks. Her teaching experience transformed Yingying into someone with dreams to pursue. She forged deep friendships with the local teachers and children.
