This book is one of the books in the 2024 National Publishing Fund Project "Fiscal Politics Perspective Series". The long-term neglect or even misinterpretation of Schumpeter's "The Crisis of the Tax State" published in 1918 is one of the important reasons for the century-long development dilemma of fiscal sociology. This book provides an in-depth textual interpretation of Schumpeter's "The Crisis of the Tax State" and combines this interpretation with the interpretation of the paradigm shift in fiscal and economic research and the history of fiscal sociology thought.
