City of Giants/巨人的城市

This book tells the story: The city I live in has always been guarded by a giant. The giant helps us build the city and maintain law and order, but we cannot get out of the city. Most people who try to escape the city disappear mysteriously. I accidentally touched the giant and got a huge "meat pad" that fell from it. After research, I determined that it was the giant's cells. The cells divided and grew into two miniature cities. What happened?
