This book is divided into two volumes, this being the first. The story tells of Shen Yuan, who falls into a coma due to illness and has a dream in which he enters a fantasy novel he once read, becoming Shen Qingqiu, the peak master of Qingjing Peak in the Cang Qiong Mountain Sect. To change Shen Qingqiu's tragic fate in the original story, he strives tirelessly, maintaining a cold and aloof exterior while secretly working to become a mentor and friend to his disciples. After a series of adventures and challenges, Shen Yuan's relationship with his disciples gradually improves, and they eventually reconcile.
