Lin Zexu/林则徐

This book tells the story of Lin Zexu, a politician in the late Qing Dynasty. He served as the governor of Jiangsu and the governor-general of Huguang, and advocated the strict prohibition of opium. Later, he was appointed as the imperial commissioner to go to Guangdong to ban opium. On June 3, 1839, he destroyed more than 2.37 million kilograms of opium confiscated on the Humen beach.

本书讲述了：林则徐，清末政治家。曾任江苏巡抚、湖广总督等职，主张严禁鸦片。后受命为钦差大臣，前往广东查禁鸦片。1839年6月3日，在虎门海滩将收缴的二百三十七万多斤鸦片当众销毁。
