This book tells the story of Huo Qubing, a famous general of the Western Han Dynasty, who was skilled in riding and shooting when he was young, and was extremely brave and showed outstanding military talent. Later, Huo Qubing defeated the Xiongnu twice, and then he and Wei Qing divided their troops to defeat the main force of the Xiongnu. He led the army to fight against the Xiongnu six times, and was promoted to General of Cavalry and was named "Marquis of Champion". Huo Qubing opened up a large area of territory for the Han Dynasty. After his death, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty posthumously named Huo Qubing Marquis of Jinghuan and buried this hero with great honor to highlight his great achievements.
