This book tells the story of: Grandpa Hua got tired of painting the scenery around the little house, so he said goodbye to Grandma Hua and went to paint the outside world. Grandma Hua had to stay to look after the house in order to take care of the flowers in the yard. After finishing her housework and watering the flowers, Grandma Hua started to sit in front of the window and read the newspaper. When she saw a place she liked, she cut it off, leaving a hole like a window in the newspaper. A gust of wind blew, and the windows slowly opened, taking Grandma Hua and her pets to the beach, the grassland, and the desert, and seeing many scenery that Grandpa Hua had never seen.
