He was so tormented that he almost resigned, but during the production of "Crayon Shin-chan," he emotionally exclaimed, "This is my calling!" Revising "The Tatami Galaxy," he discovered that his own interpretation was crucial; "Lu Over the Wall" borrowed from the structure of songs; even his childhood experience of nearly drowning in a bucket was incorporated into the animation… Drawing inspiration from all sorts of things, he tried even if it meant failure! Every moment of inspiration has woven together over thirty years of creative life. Running wild with a childlike heart, he creates art that truly belongs to Masaaki Yuasa.
