The book consists of five chapters. Chapter One uses data to review and explain the overall state of Japan's economy during the Heisei era; Chapter Two traces the economic development of some major countries in the world from a global perspective; Chapters Three and Four analyze the various economic changes in Japan during the Heisei era; and Chapter Five, in light of Japan's actual situation, reviews and summarizes Japan's "lost thirty years."
