This book is a collection of works by painter Wang Shuo. Born in Fushun in 1984, Wang Shuo is a cartoonist and currently a lecturer in cartooning at the Beijing Film Academy. He has published numerous works and reviews, most notably the comic strip "Mr. Door." In 2019, Wang Shuo held a solo exhibition, "Marketplace," which received widespread acclaim. "Marketplace" depicts an "artistic escape" through painting. During this escape, the artist constantly searches for his inner desires. Wandering through mountains, countryside, gardens, and the marketplace, the artist ultimately discovers that perhaps true peace has little to do with where we live.
