This book aims to guide English beginners to understand grammar and build an "entry-level" grammar system. It mainly consists of three parts: Part 1 explains the 8 major parts of speech in English, such as what components each part of speech is often used as, basic usage, etc.; Part 2 introduces verbs, explaining non-predicate verbs and the main tenses in English; Part 3 mainly talks about Syntax, including sentence components, sentence classification, subject-verb agreement, and various clauses. Each unit is introduced through situational sentences or dialogues, and the important grammatical knowledge is systematically explained. When teaching grammar knowledge, we break the tradition of long text descriptions and present the content in a concise and intuitive way such as "charts + mind maps + schematics". At the end of each unit, there are also a wealth of exercises to help readers consolidate and digest the knowledge they have learned in a timely manner.
