"The Taste of Figs" depicts a story of family and redemption. A year after their father's death, three siblings return to their family's self-built house. Each carrying their own burdens (the eldest brother resents his father's indifference to their mother's death; the second brother feels his father didn't understand his dream of becoming a writer; the youngest sister feels regret that her father's passing was too swift), they work with their families, cleaning and preparing to sell the house. As the trash is hauled away and the dust is wiped away, fragments of memories fill the empty house again. They recall fond moments and rediscover things they might have overlooked. Can they repair their relationships while renovating the house?
