Egg Town Poetry Society/蛋镇诗社

This book, structured and formatted as a compilation of selected materials, explores the Danzhen Poetry Society from multiple perspectives through the recollections of participants (including but not limited to essays, letters, poems, lecture notes, transcripts, memoirs, confessions, and random thoughts). Through the rise and fall of a local poetry society, this book recreates the spirit and ups and downs of young people in a southern town in the 1980s. It presents a three-dimensional account of the profound impact of reform and opening up on the lives and hearts of individuals, depicting the diverse lives of these ambitious and striving young people in southern China, and presenting the social changes and vivid individuals against the backdrop of this great era.

本书采用资料选编的结构与形式, 通过参与者的回忆文章 (包括但不限于散记、书信、诗歌、讲稿、笔录、便笺、供词、随想等) 多角度探究蛋镇诗社的全貌。以一个地方诗社的兴衰再现上世纪80年代南方小镇青年群体的精神风貌和命运沉浮, 立体式反映改革开放对每个人生活和内心产生的深刻影响, 描绘一群雄心勃勃的南方奋斗青年的众生相, 呈现大时代背景下的社会变迁和鲜活个体。
