This book tells the story of Little Jasmine, who brings her the Screaming Badge given to her by Uncle Meow Roll, who says it can make the kittens' dreams come true. The kittens shout out the Screaming Badge's spell: Gulu's desired food appears at lunchtime, and Meow Three Smiles wins first place in their mouse-catching class. Everything they say comes true. Until Meow Three Smile asks Honey to help care for a large-mouthed flower, using the Screaming Badge's spell to make Honey guard it for 99 minutes. After that, Honey really does stand there motionless, frozen in place, unable to take a step even when Little Jasmine comes to find her. Little Jasmine reveals the truth about the Screaming Badge, and Honey realizes she was too scared to move. As for the "comebacks," they were all coincidences or the kittens' own efforts. Encouraged by Little Jasmine, Honey finally learns to say no. And the first person Honey refuses is Little Jasmine.
