This book tells the story of Xiaoyu's first experience in a new kindergarten. At first, Xiaoyu was afraid and uneasy about going to a strange new kindergarten. She even hid in the closet and loudly declared that she didn't want to go. However, when she arrived at the kindergarten, everything changed. The kindergarten was full of wonderful animal friends who laughed on the slide and played on the grass. There was also a kind elephant headmaster who took care of every child with his long nose. Xiaoyu found fun here and even drew a cute little penguin. She began to build friendships with the animal friends around her.
