Shi Yifeng's novella collection *Specially Capable of Fighting* includes the novella of the same name and two other works, "Rescuing Mike Huang." The protagonist of *Specially Capable of Fighting*, Miao Xiuhua, is an energetic and fiercely righteous Beijing woman. Due to her personality, she constantly clashes with those around her, earning her the reputation of being "especially capable of fighting." Later, she falls into a vicious cycle, and her family members, unable to endure the constant turmoil at home, leave her one by one. In this endless "battle," Miao Xiuhua experiences a tragicomedy of life. In *Rescuing Mike Huang*, through the portrayal of character relationships and emotional conflicts, the reader sees not only the emotional bond between humans and animals but also a profound revelation of human nature and social realities. Shi Yifeng's novels excel at character development; his exploration of moral dilemmas and analysis of social issues are presented through his characters and stories. He projects a "socially critical" perspective onto the masses in the city, directly addressing the hidden ills of society and the inner pain of urban dwellers.
