This book recounts the life of Qin Feizi from a first-person perspective, tracing the development of the "Qin people." Born after a snowstorm at the Xuan Niao Camp pasture, Qin Feizi, skilled in horse breeding and disease prevention, was appointed by King Xiao of Zhou as the head of the royal horse farm at the confluence of the Qian and Wei rivers. The horses at the royal farm were strong and multiplied successfully, and King Xiao, recognizing Qin Feizi's contributions to horse breeding, bestowed upon him the fief of Qin Yi and allowed him to continue the sacrificial rites of Ying Qin. From this point, the Qin people once again stepped onto the political stage of the Western Zhou Dynasty.
