Fifteen-year-old Dylan dies in a train accident and meets her destined ferryman, Tristan. For love, they cross the Wasteland twice, finally settling into a peaceful life upon returning to the human world. But this peace is short-lived. Soon, cracks appear in the veil of life and death, and vengeful spirits re-enter the human world, triggering a series of terrible events—farm animals are brutally attacked, and an entire bus and its passengers mysteriously disappear… Meanwhile, Susanna and the ghost Jack are trapped in the real Wasteland, surrounded by vengeful spirits, their escape route unknown. The boundary between life and death is shaken once more, and the balance between the two worlds is shattered. The Judge appears, threatening Dylan's parents' lives, demanding they return to the Wasteland to restore the crumbling balance. To save her parents, Dylan resolutely embarks on her journey home—this time, they must traverse the Wasteland, search for their parents' souls, confront the vengeful spirits' hunt, and face a fateful separation.
