This book tells the story of an old couple, a pair of greedy people, living in a quiet little mountain village. Deceived by a fox's sweet talk, they arranged for the fox to watch their chickens, a wolf to watch their sheep, and a wild boar to live in their pigsty. As a result, that night, all their chickens, sheep, and pigs were stolen. The story teaches young readers that one should never be greedy for small gains and should always remain vigilant in the face of sweet words, otherwise, one can easily suffer losses for small gains.
