When the Milky Way stretched across the sky, countless magpies linked head to tail, wings intertwined, forming a beautiful magpie bridge. The Cowherd carried his two children across the bridge, and the Weaver Girl quickly came to greet him, embracing her children. Tears of happiness turned into shooting stars streaking across the night sky. The three baby magpies also participated, and the little magpie even received a small red flower from the Weaver Girl's daughter. After Qixi, everything returned to normal, but the baby magpies who had experienced building the bridge had become stronger and more mature. From then on, whenever people saw a magpie wearing a little red flower, they would greet it, because it had witnessed the reunion and deep affection between the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl.
