Sasu's grandfather, Ebuge, was once a Sumu Da (township head). After retiring, he decided to combat desertification and plant trees. Three generations of the family contracted the barren sandy land and planted trees, overcoming numerous difficulties such as digging wells in the sandy land, selecting seedlings, and dealing with pests and diseases.
