The story takes place at Sunflower Kindergarten, where children, led by their teachers and principal, plant and care for sunflowers, patiently weeding, fertilizing, and watering them, watching them grow day by day. When the sunflowers bloom, the golden sea of flowers attracts bees and butterflies, and the children run and play amidst the fragrance. Even more delightful is the principal's encouragement to roast spiced sunflower seeds, filling the kindergarten with the aroma of flowers and seeds, carried far by the wind. The picture book uses fresh and beautiful language and delicate, vivid illustrations. Through multiple sensory experiences—sight, smell, and sound—it guides young readers to appreciate the beauty of nature, experience the joy of labor, and cultivate observation skills, patience, and teamwork.
